About Course
Indian polity and governance basically deal with the system, administration and jurisdiction of the government. It constitutes one of the most important topics of the UPSC Syllabus, especially for the mains examination. Indian Constitution, Government systems and parliamentary forms, government organisations and policies, acts passed by the parliament, fundamental rights and duties, Indian commissions and committees, etc. are included in the syllabus for policy and governance.
